We are pleased to announce a new rate revision effective July 30. Rate changes will vary by risk.
Remember to receive our most competitive rates, please offer your customers all the discounts they are eligible to receive.
- Better rates and bigger discounts – for customers who own homes, choose full coverage, have multiple cars, quote in advance, and/or choose to pay in full at inception or use an EFT bill plan
- Education Discount – lower rates for customers based on their education levels including: high school diploma, vocational/trade certificates (including military training), college degrees or those pursuing a college degree. (Education selections will be monitored to ensure accuracy.)
- Good Student Discount – discount for youthful drivers on their parents’ policy who maintain a 3.0 grade point average (Proof-generally the student’s latest report card-must be faxed.)
- Continuous Insurance Discount – discount for customers who have tenure with their prior carrier: Silver for 6 months with prior carrier; Gold for 1 year with prior carrier; Platinum for 3 years or more with prior carrier. Discounts increase with tenure.
- Residency Rewards – lower rates for customers without prior insurance who have lived at the same residence for a year or more
- Paperless Discount – customers who choose to receive bills and policy documents electronically save money as well as the environment
- Multi-Policy Discount – rewards auto customers who have an additional Progressive policy of a different product type
- Continuous Insurance Discount – In addition to great rates for new customers, this discount provides savings when customers renew with Progressive
- Preferred Renewal Treatments – Preferred customers will get “preferred” treatment when they add a youthful driver to their policy or have their first minor violation or speed.
- Free Accident Forgiveness – No surcharge for the first accident for customers who have been with Progressive for at least four years and accident free for the last three
- Free Unlimited Small Accident Forgiveness – No surcharge for any and all accidents when Progressive pays out $500 or less
- Minor Child Discount – Customers with a youthful driver on their policy will get lower rates, if they’ve been with us for one year or more
